21 OCTOBER 2009 - CONCERT TO THE BENEFIT OF THE MUSEUM OF THE HISTORY OF POLISH JEWS
WARSAW GRAND THEATER
On 21 October, a benefit concert for the Museum of the History of Polish Jews will be held at Warsaw Grand Theater.
All proceeds from the concert will go to support the construction of the Museum’s core exhibition.
American virtuoso Joshua Bell will play the legendary Gibson Stradivarius violin that used to belong
to Bronisław Huberman – a Pole, a Jew, a prominent violinist.
The initiator and producer of the concert, Zygmunt Rolat, is a businessman and philanthropist, a long-standing active participant in the dialogue between Poles and Jews.
We would like to invite everyone – music lovers and friends of the Museum, companies and institutions – wishing to actively join the cause of the Museum’s construction, to purchase a ticket and thus individually contribute to building this unique place.
Invitations, tickets, information: please contact Marta Wróbel, mwrobel@jewishmuseum.org.pl , (22) 471 03 19.
